Due to the volatility of the CBOT, Corn Plus will buy and sell corn only on days that the CBOT is trading. Day trading hours are 9:30 am to 1:15pm. Corn Plus reserves the right to not market grain outside of this time period. Target offers that are to be entered in the overnight session need to be placed by 4pm. Dumping Hours Normal Hours for dumping grain at Corn Plus are 7am to 3pm Monday thru Friday. Settlements Settlements on corn delivered to Corn Plus will be made on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Checks will be mailed out the following day. Deferred payment is available. Please inform the scale operator at the time of delivery if you want payment deferred to a later date. All cash, HTA and basis contract overruns will priced on the day of delivery at the Corn Plus closing bid. This does not apply to shareholder bushels. Those overruns will be handled as they have been in the past. Discounts Our new Corn Plus discount schedule is also posted on this web site. Please read it over and understand that Corn Plus only buys quality corn and reserves the right to reject any loads that do not meet our standards. Poor quality corn doesn’t yield as much ethanol as good quality corn, which is a known fact. Corn Plus is in the business to make ethanol and other byproducts and can only use good quality corn in that process. Shareholder Bushel Sales Contracts Beginning Oct. 1st. 2011 any shareholder that needs to purchase non pool corn for their delivery period has two options. You may purchase your corn from a local producer, elevator, or other grain merchandiser or you may buy it from Corn Plus. If you chose to buy from Corn Plus your purchase price will be $.20 over our daily posted cash price for that delivery period. You will be invoiced for the difference between your purchase price and the current base advance that is being paid on delivered bushels. Payment is due to Corn Plus within 30 days. If at the end of the trimester the rolling average is higher than your purchase price you will receive a check for the difference. Pending foreign approval, Corn Plus Cooperative of Winnebago, MN WILL NOT be accepting Syngenta's Agrisure Viptera's corn hybrids until further notice. Shareholder contacts that are delivered more than 30 days ahead of the scheduled delivery date will be charged a 4 cents per month handling fee. This amount will be deducted from your settlement for the corresponding delivery contract.
